I’m just going to let y’all know now, that many of these post are always going to start with me being influenced by a TikTok. They have me in a serious chokehold. Okay, so let’s talk about my latest influence that is NADI by Dani.
This skirt originally went viral from a video of a really cute fashion designer named Danielle Udoh showing off her latest creations. Thousands and thousands of people all across the web were asking about THE SKIRT and it’s drop-date, and little ole lucky me just happened to catch it early this summer when it became in stock. I was already on the search for a metallic outfit and this was like hitting the jackpot. I never entered my card information so fast!
I needed something big and this skirt did just the trick and more. Its metallic print is actually insane and you really can go either way with silver or gold accessories. Just picture the 2015 blue/black or white/gold dress scenario because how you see it is your prerogative.
Personally, it leans a bit more on the gold side and when I saw a few gold fits on stage, that was my greenlight to go ahead with my choice despite my everyone sticking to the uniform. And to be completely honest, I was a little nervous about being the odd ball out with the color scheme but I got SO many compliments on this skirt that is was all worth it.
